Each Doc's Duds garment in our primary fabric line is crafted with a durable soil release property.  Most stains will wash out with water, or water and a light scrub with liquid dishwashing detergent, prior to laundering.

To keep your lab coats looking their best, wash them in your machine on the gentle cycle with your regular detergent in cold water.  Do not use chlorine bleach or fabric softener.  Dry on a low heat setting and remove promptly so only touch-up ironing as desired will be needed.

Dry cleaning is not recommended.

These garments should be washed and dried alone or with other Doc’s Duds products.  The silver in the yarn produces an electric charge that may cause pilling if washed or dried with towels or fluffy items.  The excess pile of new fabrics may occasionally accumulate in areas where there is constant friction.  Simply remove the accumulations by hand or use a pill remover (available in most department or houseware stores) to remove the excess as you would for a cashmere sweater.

Additionally, dry cleaning is not recommended because the chemicals used may create a reaction with the silver in the yarn similar to that caused by chlorine bleach.

Any item returned in its original unworn, unlaundered and undamaged condition within 10 days may be exchanged for another style, size or color.  Once items have been embroidered or customized, they CANNOT be exchanged except for defects in workmanship.
